Two Rivers Chapter Wins Avery Dennison Award for 3rd Year In a Row(April, 2007)
The Two Rivers Chapter is very excited to announce that for the third year in a row, we have won an award in the Avery Dennison Great Results Chapter and Division Achievement Awards. This year, we were awarded the Honorary Mention, which is accompanied by $500, in honor of our outstanding programs, membership growth, and innovative offerings for our chapter members. The check was presented by Jennifer Thornton at our April APW event, an extraordinary event attended by approximately 175 administrative professionals. The evening included an Office Expo, fantastic speaker Andrew Traficanti, and an overview of our chapter.
Two Rivers Chapter Announces March 31, 2007 Image Enhancement Workshop (February, 2007)
The Two Rivers Chapter is proud to offer yet another fantastic workshop for our members. On March 31, 2007 we will be offering a FREE (open to the general public and other IAAP chapters as well) Image Enhancement Seminar, Projecting a Professional Image. We have confirmed three speaking programs: Lilian Bjorseth will be speaking on "What You Say Before You Speak", Lynda Ortega will be addressing "Color Analysis: What's It All About?" and Malati Limaye and Ashley Wheeler from Ann Taylor will be covering "A Wardrobe With Flair". Following the speaking presentations, we will hold a small vendor expo as well as having a photographer on hand to take professional headshots (with prearranged appointments). It's going to be a fantastic morning and it's all FREE!

The Two Rivers Chapter held our second free computer class of the 2006-2007 year on January 27, 2007 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This hands on computer class helped the attendees to become more comfortable searching the internet. The class was free for Two Rivers Chapter members. Non-members and other IAAP guests were able to attend for a small fee

Two Rivers Chapter Holds Excel Formulas Class (October, 2006)

Two Rivers Chapter Wins "Shaping the Future" Award (October, 2006)
The Two Rivers Chapter won the Shaping the Future Award from the IAAP International Board for September 2006. This award is given to three chapters every month for having the highest number of new members join the chapter during the 2006-2007 year.
Two Rivers Chapter Hosts Members Only Networking Lunch (September, 2006)
The Two Rivers Chapter will be hosting our next members only networking lunch at Connie's Pizza on September 26, 2006. The chapter regularly hosts networking events to allow the members to get to know each other in a smaller scale setting than our meetings allow. All members are welcome to attend.

Two Rivers Chapter Delegate Attends International Convention (August, 2006)
The Two Rivers Chapter sent delegate Marie Herman CAP, CIWD, ATM-B to the International Convention and Education Forum held August 6-10, 2006 in Reno, Nevada. While there, Ms. Herman not only hosted a brainstorming breakfast attended by over 60 attendees from chapters around the world, but she also lead a panel discussion of Avery Dennison Great Results Chapter Achievement Award winners which was attended by 200 participants. Ms. Herman also accepted the 2006 Avery Dennison Chapter Prestige Award along with a check for $3,000 on behalf of the chapter. Chapter President Jamie Price was awarded her third Distinguished Chapter President watch.
