2005 Certification Recipients (May 2005)
The Two Rivers Chapter is proud to announce that two of our members have achieved certification during the May 2005 certification exam. Mary Flanagan received her Certified Administrative Professional rating. Carol Synal received her Certified Professional Secretary rating. Congratulations, ladies! We are so proud of you!
Innovation Rewards Award for Two Rivers Chapter (May 2005)
The Two Rivers Chapter won the May 2005 Innovation Rewards Award. This award is given to three chapters every month for having the highest number of new members join the chapter during the 2004-2005 year.
Avery Dennison Chapter Achievement Awards (April 2005)
Avery Dennison announced during the 2005 Administrative Professionals Day webcast that the Two Rivers Chapter had been selected as the winner of the Pioneer Award! Over 133 chapters submitted applications for this award. This $500 award is given to chapters that exemplify excellence in meeting the needs of their members. This is verified by tracking a number of measurements, including membership growth, types of seminars and educational programs offered, pursuit of CEUs and CAP recertification points, attendance at International Convention, and other areas. The Two Rivers Chapter is so proud that we won this award during our first full year of existence.
Making a Difference Award (April 2005)
Jamie Price, Chapter President, was selected to receive the Illinois Division "Making a Difference" Award at the 2005 Illinois Division Annual Meeting. This award is given to individuals who are key to the success of the division during the year. Congratulations, Jamie!
Two Rivers Chapter Offers Free Computer Classes! (January 2005)
The Two Rivers Chapter is thrilled to announce that as a benefit of membership, we will be offering free computer classes to our members. (Non members may attend for a small fee.) This benefit is possible as a direct result of Edward Hospital, which is permitting us to use their computer lab. We thank Edward Hospital for their gracious support.
