The Two Rivers Chapter will begin meeting on the second Tuesday (NOTE THE NEW NIGHT!) of every month (September through June) during the 2008-2009 program year. We offer educational programs, members only networking lunches, hands-on computer classes (free for members, others may attend for a small fee), a professional development seminar and a shorter winter development seminar. Agenda Most of our programs are approved for CPS/CAP recertification points. Our meetings are held in the Naperville area. Please contact us to verify where our next meeting will be held.

IAAP International Convention and Education Forum
IAAP is an international organization with over 600 chapters around the world. Each year, for one week, approximately 2000 attendees converge upon a city for amazing educational workshops, fabulous keynoters, multiple networking opportunities, a huge Office Expo, awards banquets, tours, officer elections and more. This is an AWESOME event and we strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity. The 2008 convention will be held in New Orleans, LA.Many many speakers and events!

Special Opportunity - Word 2007 Study Group
The Two Rivers Chapter is proud to announce a newly forming study group to prepare for Word 2007 certification. Two Rivers Chapter members who are interested in participating must attend all four evening sessions (Wednesdays from August 20, 2008 through September 10, 2008) at Edward Hospital in the Education Center. Cost is $5 total and attendees are also required to purchase the Microsoft Press Word 2007 Step by Step book. We are requesting CAP/CPS recertification points for this study group. Job Search Bootcamp
Many of our members are impacted by the sad news we see daily on the economy. The Two Rivers Chapter is working hard to be your go-to resource for job searching! We'll be hosting a job search bootcamp on September 6, 2008 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. This special half day workshop will include presentations on performing an electronic job search, handling tough interview questions and suggestions to advance your career.
