Benefits of Membership Unique to the Two Rivers Chapter

In addition to the many wonderful benefits of membership listed above, there are some benefits that are unique to the Two Rivers Chapter. We strive to provide fun educational monthly programs from September through June. We offer hands-on computer classes that are free for members only (non-members can attend for a fee). Our focus on professional development is demonstrated through our CAP/CPS Study Group and Lending Library. We hold a full day Professional Development Seminar (Age of Discovery: The Renaissance Admin was held in November 2007) in the fall and a 1/2 day "bootcamp" style seminar (a Discover Confidence Seminar was held in February 2008) in the winter. In addition, we help you to stay certified by offering recertification points at most of our program meetings. We anticipate offering 20-30 points this year alone!

We also encourage networking with fellow chapter members and guests by including a networking session at every meeting and separate networking gatherings periodically. The Two Rivers Chapter is your local resource for problem solving, computer assistance, vendor referrals, brainstorming and more.

As a member, your company would be eligible to place free administrative professional job postings on our website. We also regularly communicate job postings to our members. We have partnered with the Naperville Career Center to receive free résumé reviews.

We work hard to ensure our members stay aware of their local resources through our "Vendor of the Month" program and our giveaways at each meeting. View our giveaway items from the past year. We also arrange private tours at facilities our members are interested in seeing.
