Two Rivers Chapter
International Association of Administrative Professionals® Naperville, Illinois |
![]() |
The Two Rivers Chapter was chartered in April 2004 and covers Naperville, Lisle, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Warrenville, and surrounding communities. We have already grown to over 160 members with dozens of companies represented.
We are part of the Illinois Division and the Great Lakes District (which also includes Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio). If you have come to our site in error and would like to learn about any local chapters near you, please go to our International Headquarters site at http://www.iaap-hq.org and click Chapter Locator on the left hand side menu.
Would you like your company to learn more about the IAAP Two Rivers Chapter? We have partnered with a local caterer to create a Resource Roadshow! This hour-long lunchtime presentation is available free of charge. We'll provide lunch to the participants, a brief overview of the caterer's options and a brief overview of IAAP Two Rivers, followed by a 30-40 minute computer tips and tricks session. All of this brought right to your company's conference room at no charge and no obligation! Contact us at webmaster@iaap-tworivers.org to take advantage of this special offer!
Our chapter members chose education, professional & career development, and networking as our core areas of focus. As a result, we have taken several steps to promote these areas actively. Our programs have a professional development focus and are usually eligible for CAP/CPS recertification points. We include networking at every meeting. We actively forward job postings from the community and our members's companies.
In addition to our monthly fun, educational programs, we also offer (free for members only) quarterly hands-on computer classes. We are in the process of developing a CAP study group and we are putting together a lending library of materials for members that are preparing for the exam.
